Sourdough Banana Muffins



  1. At least 12 hours before you wish to bake, combine The sourdough starter and Millers Artisan Sourdough Flour. This will make a very thick dough. Cover for 12 hours or leave overnight.
  2. After 12 or the next day,preheat oven to 375°F or 190 C. Combine the sugar, banana, and egg together in a small bowl. In a separate bowl combine salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients over the cultured dough while gradually adding the liquid ingredients, stirring in just to combine everything.
  4. Spoon batter into muffin tins, 3/4 full. Bake at 375°F or 190 C for 18 to 20 minutes. You can poke with a tooth pick, if the tooth pick comes out clean you’re baked.
